There are number of ways to get your hands on the map of Singapore. The first one obviously is to search online for free viewable map with your computer. You can also download and utilize the Google Earth software to view the satellite image from above the sky.

For off-line usage, get map of Singapore by purchasing street directory from stores. If you are a traveller who likes to go for free-and-easy travels, these books will be a handy great help while you go around Singapore with plenty of resources, like MRT routes, government service areas, and even major telephone numbers stated for emergency. Nowadays they include free CD version of searchable map of Singapore too.

There is another useful site to let you get map of Singapore, from our Singapore Land Authority. Furthermore, you can download the map to your mobile devices like pocket PC or PDA phones.

Last but not least, get a Global Positioning System (GPS) device and start get around the streets in Singapore with verbal instructions!

This lion head with a fish body statue, having a crest of waves and standing in the height of 8.6 metres, weighing 70 tonnes at one Fullerton, originally located at Merlion Park by the Espanade Bridge. First designed as an emblem for the Singapore Tourism Board in 1964.
